All these factors make the fast food items widely acceptable the people.

However, the people who prefer their health to the taste always remove themselves from the consumption of the fast food. Fast food can cause obesity in a person in the long run, and make them unable to keep up the total energy balance for the body.

Eating out is increasing day by day, as it is convenient, tasty and able to give leisure. Fast food has become the component of the daily routine, especially for youngsters who have never known life without this form of food industry. Almost all of them prefer to have food from outside. The burgers, ice creams, pizzas, pastries, aerated drinks all become the ingredients of their diet. However, they are not conscious about the impact on their health.

The fast food items have less fiber content. The fast food meals generally contain low quality carbohydrates, but they will be very high in levels of saturated fat. They will only make us over weight, which can again lead to problems like cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. Fast food is rich with oil, acrylamides, sodium and refined sugar, all which cause detrimental impacts to the health. The ingredients in fast food contain a high quantity of carbohydrates, which will increase the stress for the body’s capacity to produce insulin. This can lead to the lessened quantity of insulin produced, which will act with the high level of sugar produced after the food intake. Thus fast food is related with type 2 diabetes.

Fast food generally contains more calories than traditional foods. They are likely to undermine the normal appetite control aspects. As the fast foods are also very oily, it will increase the cholesterol level of the body too which can in turn increase your blood pressure.

Fast food items do not have the nutrients required for the body. They can never bring us the nutritional value brought by the fresh fruits, vegetables and salads. Fast foods are also addictive (in a psychological sense) - whereas they are highly delicious for the palate, and as a result they tend to distract people from healthy homemade food, and there my friend lies the real danger in why fast food causes obesity.
